High Safety Standards
Every traveller should be aware that Antarctica is an extremely remote continent and therefore potentially hazardous.
Safety is our first priority for all our expeditions and tours and therefore diligent preparation and comprehensive contingency planning is of utmost importance.
We ask all Antarctic travellers to complete a confidential medical questionnaire, as well as an experience records of excursions, to ensure that our clients' physical condition and level of experience are adequate for the for particular tours and expeditions.
Our managing personnel and field guides have participated in various polar expeditions, and possess a deep knowledge and understanding of the Antarctic environment and its hazards. Therefore we can ensure maximum safety during your expeditions, as well as to give all the support necessary while you are in Antarctica.
All flights to, within, and from Antarctica, are made by a carrier with more than 10 years of experience in polar aviation. We can proudly say that we are using one of the World's leaders in the logistics of the Antarctic continent.
A highly developed communication and tracking system is used, to ensure that we know the position of our expeditions at anytime.In case of the unlikely event of an emergency, all required logistics are promptly appointed for search and rescue operations, to guarantee a fast and efficient medical evacuation.
Respect for the sensitive Antarctic environment is of paramount importance to us. All
our operations are carried out in accordance with the regulations of the Antarctic Treaty, the Environmental Protocol to the Antarctic Treaty
and related agreements.
One of our major aims is to educate our clients, and raise awareness of the fragility and uniqueness of the Antarctic ecosystem. We strongly
